Description of Monaco (MCO)

 Monaco Origins

 Release Date: June, 2017

Monaco is led by Kris Marszalek (CEO), an individual with a successful entrepreneurial background in Southeast Asia, raising several companies to $100 million.

MCO Functionality

Monaco, is essentially Visa debit card with inbuilt cryptocurrency functionality. Therefore, users can use their Monaco card just as they could any other credit or debit card. The idea behind Monaco, is to simplify every day cryptocurrency expenditures. Thus, people can utilize their MCO cards in grocery stores and other shopping centers. The project aims to increase the overall appeal of digital assets.

Additionally, MCO attempts to obtain the most beneficial conversion rates for its users, they also do not impose any processing fees. What’s interesting to note is that MCO does not attempt to make any profits from its card users, but rather, from the merchants through which the Monaco card is used. What’s nice about this, is that these cards are not geographically sensitive, meaning that they can be used anywhere in the world where digital assets are accepted.

As an added bonus, there is a 2 back system in place for cardholders. Ultimately, Monaco is one of those projects that aims to bridge the gap or entry barrier between mass crypto adoption and its every day uses.
